I WON’T LAST A DAY WITHOUT YOU
Music and Lyrics by: Paul Williams and
Roger Nichols
This song was sent to me
by its writers, Roger Nichols and Paul Williams. I liked it immediately
and it became the last single culled from A Song For You. A
lot of thought went into its being released though, as almost two years had
passed since the album’s release, and four singles from the album had preceded
it. We were still, however, getting a lot of requests from the public and
programmers alike to release it, which we did in early ’74.
